Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA – UK). I am extremely delighted that Wisdom has been accredited with ISO 9001: 2000 certification. Achieving ISO 9001: 2000 certification confirms the validity and effectiveness of the quality system Wisdom has established in support of its mission "To provide unmatched and reliable educational services to students and to be the best CIMA institute in Sri Lanka”.
Wisdom had set out three objectives for year 2004. First, to receive CIMA Quality Partner status, where CIMA accredits certain colleges, which adhere to quality specifications in their education. This is subject to an annual assessment. CIMA – UK accredited Wisdom Business Academy as a “CIMA Quality Partner” in year 2004.Second objective was to move in to Wisdom own building. Wisdom invested more than US $ 500,000 on it’s new building at 15B, Station Road, Colombo 03 and moved in to it thus meeting the objective.
Third objectives was to get the ISO 9001 : 2000 certification, and we have just received it.
I’m glad to state that Wisdom Business Academy has accomplished all the above mentioned objectives with the support of Management, Staff, and Lecturers.
It is my wish that Wisdom Business Academy makes its own unique contribution to professional and management education in Sri Lanka
