Incorporated in June 2002, Wisdom Business Academy was able to come to the forefront of CIMA education in Sri Lanka within a very short period.

During this short period, the student population grew from a mere 2000 to a staggering 5000 students per year. Due to the increase in the student population and the estimated rate of escalation in this demand, the institution moved into its own premises at No.15B Station Road, Colombo 03, with an investment of over USD 1 million adding a whole new dimension to CIMA in Sri Lanka. The ultra-modern building with 03 stories boasts of 04 fully air-conditioned auditoriums, a cafeteria, a comprehensive library and a state-of-the-art computer lab.

Wisdom received CIMA Quality Partner status in 2004, a well deserved jewel in the crown. Adding further to this superlative quality quest, Wisdom also received the ISO 9000:2008 certification in the same year for its superior quality management system.

The aim of Wisdom is to provide an all-round CIMA education. In other words, when you come out of Wisdom, you will not only be a qualified Management Accountant, but also a richer, more engaging and altogether better human being. This is where the Wisdom Student Council comes into play. The Student Council promotes social, intellectual, cultural and recreational activities to offer students the much sought-after social edge. The activities promoted by the Student Council include:

Wisdom stays focused on CIMA examinations which is evident in the pass rates. In many subjects, Wisdom pass rates have exceeded Sri Lankan, World and UK averages. The number one priority of students is to get through the examination, and Wisdom has been providing the medium for the same. Students have been consistently achieving very high results, having won as many as 07 World prizes and more than 80 Sri Lanka prizes.
