As CIMA's 2009/2010 Global President, it gives me great pleasure to provide a message of congratulations and encouragement on the launch of Wisdom Business Academy's new website.
In a short span of nine years Wisdom has scaled the unbelievable heights of reaching the position of the largest CIMA college in Sri Lanka. With my global knowledge and perspective, I can say that it is the largest CIMA college in the world - with possibly the exception of the UK. It has proven credentials of delivering success and its lists of prize winners - on the global stage and at Sri Lankan level are testimony to this.
As a CIMA accredited teaching provider it has earned the
highest level of recognition from the Institute in London and it continues to deliver CIMA's vision for creating members of the highest quality and standing.
Wisdom is now at the stage of embarking on its next phase of development by entering the digital space and enhancing its website. It is certainly looking to appeal to the next generation of management accounting student and once again become a pioneer in a new venture.
As CIMA's first non-UK or Irish President and a Sri Lankan born myself, I am really very proud of Wisdom Business Academy as a Sri Lankan Institution of global standing.
I congratulate the management and leadership team at Wisdom Business Academy and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. May they grow from strength to strength and is so doing provide Sri Lanka and its next generation of talent the very best in business education.
