Arj Wignaraja is a Managing Director at Stax, Inc., a global strategy consulting firm, and serves as head of the Colombo, Sri Lanka office. He leads a team of consultants, analysts, and technical specialists who work with their US-based colleagues to support Stax's global client engagements.
Arj's expertise includes the Asia-Pacific region, where he advises corporate clients on market entry and expansion in high growth areas, and in the financial services sector, where he leads client engagements in consumer cards, merchant acquiring, transaction processing, and financial advisory services.

Prior to establishing the Stax Colombo office in 2005, Arj served as a director in Stax's Chicago office, where he worked with financial services clients on growth opportunities and competitive challenges, and evaluated investment opportunities for their private equity clients.
Prior to joining Stax, Arj was with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he helped formulate business strategies for Fortune 500 clients in the financial services and industrial goods sectors.
Arj holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BA in Economics with Honours from Princeton University.
